“Her songbird vocals add a dose of comfort and extend a hand of optimism to the darkness of grief.” - Americana Highways

Scholz's 2024 tour calendar includes performances for Sundance Film Festival in Park City, SXSW in Austin, and the Americana West Music Fest, and more.

Americana Singer-Songwriter Mary Scholz delivers a rich new EP of well-worn hope and a dash of warning, the aptly titled Poems From Earth out October 6th from KZZ Music/Blue Élan Records.

Produced by Jonathan Wilson (Father John Misty, Dawes) and recorded in his Topanga Canyon studio, the album features four new songs of warm, California folk: finger-picked guitars match with dobros and delicate percussion as Scholz’s ethereal soprano guides us through these love letters to and from Mother Earth.”

Poems From Earth is a thoughtful walk through the woods, an Americana musing about life on this planet, where it's been, and where it's headed.” (Out October 6, 2023)
